Subject: HSKL Playoffs/CT Schedule

Dear Clubs.

Firstly, congratulations for qualifying for the 2010 England Korfball Champions Trophy. I have attached the provisional schedule (subject to change). For the majority you will have already qualified, but there are a few teams out there working hard to gains those last few points to get them across the finish line.

We have tried to publish the schedule as soon as we can- so sorry for any delays. In reference to the Champions Trophy, a few changes have happened in relation to last years schedule- however the tournament still remains over two days and is as highly competitive as ever.

Over the forthcoming weeks we will send out additional information covering;

A) Accreditation process (to speed up the process please make sure all your competing players are registered the league)
B) Costs/hotel arrangements
C) Information required for the programme
D) Rules

Please hold fire on any questions at the moment as we will be providing you with more information over the coming weeks. However, if you wish to book your hotel/travel and need any more information urgently please drop me a line.

Good luck and thank you very much for continual support.

Kind Regards
Craig Gosling

Dear Qualified Clubs,

I've managed to secure a deal with the holiday in Norwich for accommodation for the playoff weekend. I know many of your are considering booking now or may have even done so. The deal is £50 per room including breakfast, this is down from the current quoted rates of £65.

Tomorrow I email out the code that you will need to quote in order to benefit from the deal.

In the mean time please could you email back if this is of interested for you and how many rooms (2 people per room) your would require.

Thought I would email you asap, just incase you were thinking of booking somewhere.

Kind Regards
Craig Gosling

I heard reports that the two Cardiff teams (City won the league, and I think Dragons came second or third with the OKA Combined team, but the amalgamated team can't qualify) were not going to attend the Champion's Trophy?

I heard the Champions Trophy is now a Mini League where each team play each other once, the top 4 will then go into the NL. Is this correct? Is the NL really going to 10 teams?

Only 1 qualification spot for CT from CERl this year. Notts 2 have won the league so we'd need to come 2nd to qualify.

To do this we might need to get 3 points from our games vs Notts and Warriors.
